WCNTV BRANDCASTING SHOWCASE" A GLOVE OF THEIR OWN"

Click the Book and Place an Order Today
WCNTV SPOTLIGHTS TOMMY JOHN AND "A GLOVE OF THEIR OWN".
Tommy As a New Yorker I am proud of your association with Bob Salomon and "A GLOVE OF THEIR OWN".  As a new team member we will be supporting Bob's efforts to increase book sales through the development of a mass media campaign through WCN Social TV.  We are building audiences and look for meaningful collaborations to help kids in sports and music.

Baseball is a personal passion of mine and the moment I read the information about the book, I had a immediate flashback to my childhood.  What kid doesn't remember his first glove?  Having to oil it and wrap it with rubber bands.  And can you remember the smell of the leather.  I played both First base and Catcher for two teams in the same league.  What a thrill it was and is now to empower our youth to experience the joy of baseball.  I am asking all Fans to support WCNTV by buying 2 copies of A GLOVE OF THEIR OWN, once for yourself and one to give away.

And look for opportunities for Product Placement in a Television Series and Feature Film in development  that will capture the essence of the Joy of the Game while providing the experience to 1000's of kids who may never have the opportunity to know how precious team sports are for the building of character and citizenship.  Jay O'Conner, Chairman & CEO WCNTV

Thanks you in advance for making these books fly off the shelves.  Forward this blog around the world.

We look forward to brainstorming with Advertisers and using WCN Brandcasting Technologies to raise the Social Networking Viral Profile of "A GLOVE OF THEIR OWN"

Bob Salamon, President             Mission
Beyond the words of this book is a deeper meaning of the mission behind “A Glove of Their Own.”  We are eager to teach the next generation the importance of giving back by becoming aware of those around us who would otherwise go without.  This book is the vehicle that will drive us to deliver new and used sporting goods equipment or funds to children in need.

These fundraising efforts will range from schools to book fairs, baseball venues to retail events.  We will be hosting such events including visits by professional players with surprise giveaways, family fun and entertainment.  Through these events we anticipate fulfilling our goal of spreading the word of this story as well as raising both awareness and funds for children across the nation.  In addition, we welcome the opportunity to join forces with any organization sharing our vision.  As a result of that collaboration,  we will donate proceeds from the sale of each book to their own organization or children’s charity of their choice.

We are hopeful we have inspired your desire to join us and Play It Forward.
Sincerely,

Bob Salomon

  1. A Glove of their own is becoming a standard for what many have forgotten in sports. When we were young we played the game to play the game. We got answers to all sorts of questions about ourselves, but we played with passion regardless of our drive or reason. Later, sometimes we get corrupted and forget our reasons "why" we played the game.
Bob Salomon will be my guest on The Athlete within You Radio Hour Feb 28th 6PM PST and will talk about his projects.
Bob's book helps remind us about those times when playing the game meant everything, and the rest just sort of was there. It reminds us to take care of those and do things for others.
