WCN TRANSMEDIA LITERARY SOCIAL MEDIA AWARD NOMINIEE FEBRUARY 2011 "STEDMAN GRAHAM" OF S. GRAHAM & ASSOCIATES

WCN TRANSMEDIA SOCIAL MEDIA AWARD NOMINIEE FEBRUARY 2011 "STEDMAN GRAHAM"
OF S. GRAHAM & ASSOCIATES

In preparation for the one of the greatest advents in technology and Social Transmedia Storytelling we feature the accomplishments of Stedman Graham.  In addition to being tied to two of my favourite women in the world Dr. Maya Angelo who spent three hours with me on the tarmac in a Shuttle from Boston to New York and taught me everything I hold dear about leadership and of course Oprah who is a prime example of how hard work and determination will allow you to overcome massive odds.  But this post is about the accomplishments of the man who is strong enough not only to stand beside his women but has created a body of work that every person can learn life's lesson from.  In Success Leaves Clues, we recognize his work as a Educator, Author,  Thought Leader and Speaker.

As we uncover the essence of Transmedia Brandcasting and how a new source of revenue can give hope to the global connected community.  We look to you and work with Ambassador Webb to continue the Dream of Dr. King and truly guide the Transmedia discussion leading as we move from Civil Rights to Platinum Rights.

"MY PARENTS MY SISTER & ME"
Bright Ideas Entertainment Atlanta, Georgia USA February 28, 2011
WCN Transmedia Group wants to extend congratulations to the Team at Bright Ideas Entertainment in Atlanta for appears to be a modern day quality television show worthy of what Bill Cosby accomplished with the Cosby Show.  I draw this comparison as I regard the Cosby Show are the bar for Transmedia Storytelling.  And with the Bright Minds at Bright Ideas you can see only great things in the future.  Making them a Production Company not only to watch but invest in.

In a series, that began yesterday with Ambassador Oscar J. Webb and the Africa Heritage Society's From Civil Rights to Platinum Rights movement it is important to identify both opportunities and impediments to global revenue sharing for creative works like this one.

When researching for this Blog, I found a few clips to watch of the show on Youtube And then appeared in my search a site called LOCATETV.  And guess what SHOW NOT CURRENTLY PLAYING IN ENGLAND.
Screen is below for your review.  Today we examine the barriers to International T-Commerce, Anti-Piracy and missed opportunity for Revenue.  Then it is our hope that Advertisers wishing to reach a global social audience with join forces with production companies like the ones highlighted by WCN Transmedia Group's Blog..

As a Transmedia Brandcasting Catalyst we are looking for Branded Entertainment opportunity to create more access to content not less.  So just a few simple points and I am out, got a plane to catch.

1. Transmedia Brandcasting would allow viewers to instantly purchase anything seen via IPTV and TV ANYWHERE.
2. To reach a Social TV Cinema Audience with your content you need to have a ATM Attached so anything seen can be transacted by secured online payments systems.  Playspan, PayPal, Visa Mastercard others are capable of collecting and generating residual payments to the producers, actors and crew in addition to the Executive Producers, Investors and if
the Distribution system moves fast enough an extension into the new world of Transmedia Brandcasting Revenue Share.  Yes New Money.  The promise of IPTV and the Convergence is even unrolling faster than I anticipated and I have studied this daily for the last 6 years.  If Gerald Levin in reading this we now know what you were trying to achieve with AOL.

Timing is so important and at the end of this I want to talk briefly in my SUCCESS LEAVES CLUES SEGMENT about a book I am dying to get my hands on MOVING WITHOUT THE BALL By Stedman Graham.

Back to Bright Idea's Entertainment and a way to increase not only their presence but NBC's ABC's and a LOGO I am so pleased to see smack dab in the middle.  COLOURSTV Every Advertiser on the planet should support this network that has been the forerunner for Culturally Diverse TV.  Congrats to Tracy Winchester and their team for their work with Bright Idea.

WCN SOCIAL MEDIA AWARDS IS PLEASED TO NOMINATE CEO WILLIAM ANTHONY HOLLINS TRANSMEDIA STORYTELLER AWARD FEBRUARY 2011.

William Anthony Hollins is the founder of BIE and a graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce.  He received his Bachelor of Science as a double major in Mass Communications and Theater Arts with a Minor in Radio/TV Technology.

After receiving numerous awards for acting and writing (including the American Universities Theater Festival award for Best Actor and the Amoco Oil Corporation’s Irene Ryan Award for the same, Hollins expanded his career into the world of entertainment via music and music videos.

From 1990-1994, Hollins penned over 176 musical compositions.  This led him to being teamed up with the late Hall of Fame Music Publisher, Bill Lowery.  Together they landed deals for artists with Sony Music (Girls Only), and LaFace/Arista Records (Fourth Avenue) with Hollins as writer and producer.

In 1993, the obvious segue into Music Videos became evident when Hollins wrote, produced and directed his first music video called “U Ain’t Bad.”  He followed that up with 16 more videos that received regular rotation on BET and MTV Networks.

Music, however, was only a backdrop for his true gift (creating Motion Pictures and Television programs). In 1996, Hollins wrote and sold his first original screenplay to an independent film company in Atlanta called Diamond Eye Entertainment Films. Hollins then Produced and directed the movie.  The film, released in August of 2001, is called “Black and Blue".

Since 2001, Hollins has written 11 more Screenplays, Four 3D CGI Animations, 3 teleplays and 5 dramatic live action films. The four Animation Screenplays entitled “Hiptoons”, “The Adventures of Eagle Eye Jo”, “BALLERS: Play Your Game” and "The Outfit" are in pre-production on various levels.

Currently Hollins is working with Debbie Allen on a Television Sitcom created by Hollins called “My Parents, My Sister & Me” which airs beginning December 28, 2009 on the NBC Networks.

Hollins has created over 120 animated characters that will soon grace television and theatrical screens and market places throughout the world.

IN CELEBRATION OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR LEGACY ‘CIVIL RIGHTS TO PLATINUM RIGHTS

Status: Immediate Release. January 17, 2011

By Mutumwa Mawere – Chairman (AHS) Rivonia, South Africa Led by Humanitarian “International” Goodwill Ambassador Oscar J. Webb

This day, 15 January 1929, is an important day for not only Americans but also for the people of African descent and all who live in the continent of Africa, the largest host of black people in the world.

It is a day that we should use to pause and reflect on what it means to be African. On this day, an African giant born in America was born.

We remember him for refusing to be a spectator of the events and defining issues of his time.

He understood that the values that inspired the construction and articulation of the declaration of independence and the constitution compelled his generation to redeem a promissory note or a check for justice.

This day is dedicated to Martin Luther King, Jr., a man whose life journey of 39 years helped not only Americans to listen to the whispers of tomorrow rather than the ghosts of the past but all oppressed people to recognize that change is a consequence of action.

As we celebrate the works of MLK, we are cognisant of the distance that we still have to travel to tomorrow a better and brighter day for all of God's children. I am particularly excited that our brothers ably led by Ambassador O. Webb have decided to bring to life Africa Heritage Society (AHS), an organization whose principal mission is to advance the march to the promised land where the promise inherent in the enterprise of life is made good to all without manmade barriers creating the barriers that condemns others while enabling a few.

Often we expect that the business of building a secure and prosperous future is someone else's business. MLK taught us that the future is and ought to be the business of all.

He taught us the urgency of acting now instead of tomorrow. He gave the weak the strength to soldier on.

Notwithstanding the condition of the people of African heritage continues to challenge the conscience of all yet we have the responsibility to rebrand ourselves for the sake of those who will come after us.

As an African, I am acutely aware that without organization we have no hope to connect the missing dotes in our story as a people whose past left indelible marks of pain, insecurity and more significantly lack of confidence to scale the heights of the opportunity ladder.

We are encouraged that through the platform of AHS we will be able to create a new bank of hope to inspire the African family to realize that we are as strong as our weakest link and unless we pull together we may have few points of light but we will not escape as a people from darkness.

We need to know each other and create new bridges to connect ourselves so that we can lift the majority who remain in the valley because the few who have made it think that they can push the ladder off and remain secure.

MLK was a civil rights icon but in this century that has been dubbed the African Century, we need to identity and profile our platinum rights superstars, icons and legends.

The whispers of tomorrow have to speak to the need for us to improve our literacy about the kind of issues that help advance our cause as a people.

Such conversations can only take place if we are organized. AHS is one of many notforprofit organizations that can and should promote dialogue and progress.

We are encouraged that the call for building institutions to serve us has been answered. So when I next visit America, I look forward as many of my fellow members to connect with our brothers and sisters in the country of the brave.

The only power we have as a people who have been historically marginalized is the power to organize.

Our strength can only be located in our organization.

Please be assured that when you launch AHSUSA we are all going to be there in spirit. We are with you as we attempt to change the content and context of our conversations.

The future belongs to builders. We are the builders and when an idea's time has come there is nothing than can stop it.

It is Heritage Time. Let us use this special window to talk about the distance travelled, lessons drawn and more importantly draw an agenda for action.

Let our actions define us and let future generations remember and enjoy the fruits of our actions and labor.

Working together we can raise the African flag and raise its status for our collective good in a competitive world where the resources that God deposited in the continent's belly should give all the African people the right wake up call to take our rightful place in the game.

First it was back in 2002 that I first had my television production experience working on a production for my clients at the Apex Museum in Atlanta who had an exhibit African American Entrepreneurs Past, Present and Future.  We filmed a series of Black History Moments that I was blessed to coordinate. Later learned it was producing.  What inspires me about going from Civil Rights to Platinum Rights is that there is no color on abundance.

But how do we go from consumerism to Global Captains of Industry and what does Transmedia offer, Well lets examine what Transmedia is and then unclock what it is not.  And then follow the money, honey cause if I am half right there is a way to save our nation for our kids.

LETS TAKE A MOMENT TO REMEMBER HISTORY AND TAKE THE END OF BLACK HISTORY MONTH AND BEGIN THE CIVIL RIGHTS TO PLATINUM RIGHTS DECADE.

It will take bold action again as Martin delivered during the boycott of Coke Cola and others like Wonder Bread, however since what I will be suggesting is a new revenue stream the no one loses.  Greed forget about it because what if you had access to any connection to any CXO on the planet.  What would you do with it.  Post your ideas on this blog.
