Please see SFERA's need that we were hoping the interns could help us with. Initially this will be an unpaid part-time internship, but we are going to offer the following opportunities to our interns.
1. References from SFERA Board members who are executives in well known global organizations (Accenture, LECG, etc)

2. Leadership experience in web development, marketing and communications that they can directly apply to their future career.

Web Development
The goal is to re-design all areas on the site listed below + populate with content. They could do this using HTML, etc or going through a platform like Yola (faster and easier, but limited capabilities)
    - Homepage
    - Event page
    - Member registration
    - Create a calendar
    - Create automatic event registration
    - Member-only portion that contains member list, blog, by-laws, minutes and other internal postings

The next step would be to replicate the site format/content to Facebook and LinkedIn.

Content Development
In addition to helping develop the initial content for the website, the interns will be responsible for keeping ongoing discussions and communication about upcoming events and related materials via site blog, LinkedIn Group, Facebook page and directly with SFERA members.

SFERA is a Russian word we use to describe this organization. It is similar to the word globe :).
