1.The position requires the successful incumbent to formulate and

implement a group wide e-business strategy that will deliver innovative

online value propositions and marketing programs that :

1.drive consumer acquisition retention and monetization

2.deepen engagement with our existing and new clients

3.serve to distinguish our capabilities from the competitionPrimary Tasks

1.Create a Sanlam Group wide e-business strategy and implement the

strategy

2.Create e-business value propositions across the value chain and market

segments with the segment heads

3.Research best practices related to e-business and ensure that the

strategy remains in step with consumer behaviour and technology

advancement

4.Provide thought leadership around e-business to the units in the

Sanlam Group

5.Collaborate with other units such as Group Marketing Distribution to

position e-business value propositions

6.Manage ‘internal customer’ relationships with units within the Sanlam

Group

7.Program management of internet and mobile initiatives in the Sanlam

Group

Secondary Tasks

1.Technology decisions across the Sanlam Group

2.Own the On-line customer experience

3.Collect customer insights related to e-business

4.Ensure compliance to regulations in the e-business space

5.Facilitate the convergence of Sanlam Group web and mobile initiatives

REQUIREMENTSA. QUALIFICATIONS:-

1.Relevant B Degree

2.Preference will be given to MBA Graduates


B. EXPERIENCE:-

1.(Five) 5 years Senior Management

2.(Five) 5 years experience developing or managing E-business channel

with a demonstrated record of delivering revenue growth preferably

supplemented by experience in digital marketing online value

proposition and new business development experience.

3.Proven implementation of commercially viable internet and mobile

business to consumer value propositions


C. KNOWLEDGE:-

1.E Commerce/Business

2.Financial Services Industry advantageous but not essential
